The guide below provides step-by-step instructions on how to backup and download your game server’s persistence files. For this example, we’ve used a Minecraft server.
To get started, navigate to Clanforge, enter your MH number, and click on the server you want to backup.
Backup Persistence Files
Once you’re on the Clanforge page for the server you want to backup, click on the “Word” tab.
Click on the button labeled “Backup my worlds.”
Select the worlds you wish to backup by toggling the checkbox to the left of the world’s name within the Select World to Backup box.
Then click on the red button labeled “Backup.”
You’ll see the progress bar load, then a message stating, “World Backups Complete.” Click on the “Close” button.
Download Persistence Files
Once you’re on the Clanforge page for the server you want to backup, click on the “Files” tab.
Navigate to the Backups directory from the drop-down list if you are not already there.
Select the backup file (or files) you want to download by toggling the checkbox to the left of the file name.
Then, after you’ve selected the backup file(s), click on the “Download” button.
