 Bad Company 2 - Server Setup Guide
Solution Battlefield Bad Company 2 uses two different configuration files to control settings on the server.
Both of these can be changed to control the way that the server behaves, and we'll cover the different settings you can use here.

To change any of these files on your Multiplay server, follow these steps:

1) Log into Clanforge - http://clanforge.multiplay.co.uk using your Multiplay Account
2) Edit your profile by clicking the Profiles tab and clicking Edit at the bottom of the page
3) Click on the Config tab, and then select the file you wish to edit from the drop down menu.
4) Save your profile remembering to click the Restart option if you want your changes to take immediate effect!

You can change the following settings from the Basic tab of your profiles.
Server Name
Admin Name
Admin Email
Max Players
Time Limit
Gametype
Admin Password
Server Password

To change the maps in rotation on your server, use the Maps tab of the Profiles page.

Punkbuster
"Punkbuster=true" - Change the value to False to disable PunkBuster on your server.

Ranked
"Ranked=true" - Change the value to False to change your server to be unranked.

Server Description
"ServerDescription=Welcome to a Multiplay Bad Company 2 Server! Order yours today @ http://gameservers.multiplay.co.uk to be in good company!" - You can edit this description if you've got a De-Branded server

Loading Screen Banner
"BannerUrl=http://static.multiplayuk.com/images/servers/bfbc2-in-game.png" - You can change this to your own banner if you've got a De-Branded server. The URL has a limit of 64 characters.

To add any of these settings, just place them into this file on your Clanforge Profile

Enable Hardcore Setting
vars.hardCore true

Enable Friendly Fire
vars.friendlyFire true

Set the highest rank allowed on the server
vars.rankLimit -1

Disable auto balancing of teams
vars.teamBalance false

Disable KillCam
vars.killCam false

Disable MiniMap
vars.miniMap false

Disable Client's Crosshair
vars.crossHair false

3d Spotting on
vars.3dSpotting true

3d Spotting on the MiniMap
vars.miniMapSpotting true

Third Person Vehicle Cameras
vars.thirdPersonVehicleCameras true
Note: Server must be restart else players may become stuck
